Cornucopia (horn of plenty) is a personal artistic research on the Lassithi plateau’s elusive identity. Located 840m ASL on the island of Crete, enclosed by mountains, is a natural fortress with a particularly fertile land. First inhabited during the Neolithic age, it became a major cult place of the Minoan civilization. This rich land which has nourished generations of Cretans, is the same place that according to the myth, Zeus was born in a cave and is considered to be the bridal bed of Europa.

‘Me in my point of view’ is a self-portrait of my inside, solitude, and privacy. Each of us has set a certain circle for ourselves, and we live according to it. A circle has definite and firm rules. I have made everything in this circle on my own. i myself have made both being comfortable to stay and being afraid to leave. Without hesitation, it seems marvelous to stop everything and watch yourself in pure silence.

ISLANDS An exhibition by the Steve McCurry the lucie awards Honoree, 2004, exploring life across islands around the world. Through intimate and powerful imagery, the collection portrays the people, traditions, landscapes, and cultures of island communities — capturing both their uniqueness and their shared human spirit. Originally curated for House of Lucie Koh Samui, the exhibition is now presented for the first time at House of Lucie Ostuni during the OFF program of the festival.
